Frances Carp Gordon, age 89 of Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush, NY died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the nursing home. Frances was born in Davenport, Iowa and was a longtime Albany resident. She had been employed by the New York State Research Foundation at SUNY Albany for many years and was retired. Frances was a member of Temple Israel in Albany, and the Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland where she was an avid golfer.
Frances was married to David ( Dutchie) Gordon until his passing. She is survived by a son, Scott Gordon and his wife , Nancy of Colonie and Barbara Schreiber and her husband Dr. Edward Schreiber of Slingerlands, NY. Grandmother of Lauren Schreiber Romeo, ( Mike), Joshua Schreiber, Stephanie Schittino ( Sal) and Danielle Gordon. Great grandmother of Leah Schreiber Romeo and Joseph Schreiber Romeo.
Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY.
