Cohoes – Stephen R. Paskin, 75, of Cohoes passed away at Albany Medical Center Hospital on Monday, October 9, 2017 after a brief illness.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Abraham and Nettie Handler Paskin.
Stephen was a graduate of SUNY Albany with a Bachelor’s Degree, and was a research analyst for NYS Department of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years. Stephen was an avid bridge player and a diamond life master.
Husband of Carol Darwak Paskin of Cohoes, step-father of Lori (Sandy) Colaruotolo, Shelley (Joe) Matura, Christine (Jake) Oreshan, Paul (Maggie) Tanner and Matthew (Emily) Tanner. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brother of George Paskin of Albany and best friend of Reuben Weinstein for over 40 years.
A memorial service will be held at Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call at the chapel from 11 to 12 prior to the service.
