Mark Greenberg Obituary

Mark W. Greenberg of Denver, Colorado passed away suddenly on March 22, 2024 at the age of 77. Judy Joseph, his partner in life, was at his side at their winter residence in Florida. Mark was born in Lansingburgh, NY on November 2, 1946 to the late Sam and Florence Fuchs Greenberg, original owners of the Troy Plate Glass Company.

Mark was the brother of the late, Merill (survived by Marion) Greenberg and their children, Morton, Sabrina and Ely; The late Leona (the late Tom) Liberty and their children, Tom, Chris, Donna, Jim and Lee; Edythe (the late Sherwood) Goldstein and their children, David, Michael and Steven; Arnold Greenberg and his children Aaron, Rachael and Ethan along with Arnold’s partner in life, Nina Durr. Mark is also survived by Judy Joseph; her son, Doug (Michelle) Striker and their children, Elias and Isy.

Mark was a veteran of The United States Air Force, a glazier and master insurance broker, specializing in credit life insurance. In addition, he owned an insurance company in Canada for a period of time. As a sales manager, he received many awards including one of the two top innovators in North America for car sales.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed being a real estate developer and classic car collector. As a pilot, he founded Angel Flight in Colorado transporting sick children to hospitals free of charge. Friends, cousins, nieces and nephews will miss Mark forever. He was always treasured as a thoughtful, kind, smart and loyal friend. His generosity was without bounds and his sense of humor infectious.

Funeral services for Mark will be held graveside on Thursday March 28th at 11:00 am at The Beth Tephilah Cemetery, 996 Spring Ave. in Troy, N.Y.
