Leonard H. Sahr (Len),age 76, of Richmond, Virginia died suddenly on Tuesday morning, May 1, 2018. Len was born on February 19, 1942 in Schenectady, New York and was the son of Abram and Celia Sahr. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School with honors and went on to earn an A B degree from Bowdoin College. Thereafter, Len obtained an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating from UW-Madison, Len landed Market Research Analyst positions in New York City, Atlanta and finally Richmond working for Ogilvy & Mather, Coca-Cola and Reynolds Metals, respectively.
Len was the quintessential gentle giant. He was tall and strong but his heart was even bigger. Anyone who ever met Len remembers his kindness and extraordinary generosity.
Len is survived by his brother Lewis and wife Felise of Boynton Beach, Florida and his nephew Evan of New York City.
