Wednesday, July 17, 2019Amy and family, Brooks and I continue to think of you during this time especially. Although I only met your mom a few times, I feel like I knew her through the childhood stories you’ve shared over the years. No doubt, she was proud of you and you of her. Much love, Cathy

Sunday, July 7, 2019Dear Amy and family, I remember with such fondness navigating preteen and teenage years together and visiting one another’s childhood homes (do you still salt your watermelon?) Your parents were unfailingly warm and welcoming to me, day or night. Your Mom knew your friends and your life, which I suspect continued for many years. Thanks to her example, you must be a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. May today’s sorrow lighten with time, and may her memory be a blessing.

Saturday, July 6, 2019Dear Amy and Family, We are sending our love, thoughts, prayers and condolences. Harriet was a wonderful and incredible person who cared so much for others. Mike taught with Harriet for many years and both Harriet and Elliot were like in town grandparents to our children. They will always have a special place in our hearts. Love, Mike and Ann Sail

Wednesday, July 3, 2019Harriet Posner was my 5th grade teacher. When I moved to the hinterlands from the Lower East Side in the middle of the 1973-1974 school year it was quite shocking to me to say the least. She gently and lovingly helped me make the transition. As long as I live, a part of her will be with me. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. May HaShem grant comfort to all in this time of grief.
